This watercolour goes back a long time. It has been in my own private collection for nearly 40 years., and it goes back to the days when my main subject matter was the coast and local area.
I doubt wether I shall ever paint a watercolour such as this again, it really was a labour of love. 
Why am I selling it? Space. We have moved to a much smaller house.
The red boat in the foreground has featured a great deal in my work, it belonged to a school friend of mine and when we meet the boat always becomes the topic of conversation.
